Stan Vosburg's portrayal of people in his art is reminiscent of Norman Rockwell - the viewer gets a very
strong sense of each characters personality. Vosburg's characters are an important part of each of his paintings and lend a human connection to the machinery which he depicts.
Educated and employed as an engineer in the aerospace industry, Vosburg originally began painting as a form of stress management and a diversion from everyday life. At the
urging of his art instructor, he pushed himself harder and began to take on more challenging subjects. Vosburg enjoyed early success and began to take his painting more seriously. He joined the American Society of
Aviation Artists and merged his lifelong love of aviation with his artistic skills.
Stan's images convey a strong sense of patriotism and are an excellent addition to any aviation art collection. |
