The Douglas X-3 Stiletto is arguably the most beautiful of the "X" planes, and is said to have been one of the most difficult to fly. With its stubby, high speed wing it required a three mile take-off run to get airborne.

This print is signed by Brig. Gen. Frank K. "Pete" Everest, Jr., who flew the Stiletto on three of of its six USAF test flights.
