RIVETING IMAGES Presents

On September 18, 1959, the now common practice of undetected, low-level, high speed airspace penetration was demonstrated by Convair's Chief Test Pilot Beryl Erickson. Using a fresh B-58 Hustler, Erickson flew the aircraft 1400 miles from Texas to California, non-stop, unrefueled, and never above 500 feet, at speeds up to 720 mph. The flight was accomplished in just two hours without the use of aerial navigation aides.

This print is signed by test pilot Beryl Erickson.
