While the B-29 "Mary Anna" drops its lethal load over a Japanese target, a Kawasaki Ki-45 Toryu ("Nick") makes a Kamikaze attack. The twin-engined "Nick" was one of the few Japanese aircraft with the speed and altitude capabilities needed to reach the high-flying, pressurized B-29.
